The Sump Shark® sump cleaner is a high-suction vacuum designed to efficiently remove fluid and heavy sludge from CNC coolant or oil tanks. Safety

CECOR is the only sump cleaner manufacturer to offer a comprehensive three-step system to prevent over-pressurization in air powered units:

Pressure Regulator – controls the operating pressure (6 psi) set at factory.
Pressure Relief Valve – goes off at 8 to 9 psi (loud, unmufflered sound) alerting operator
Rupture Disk – Shuts the unit off at 15 psi (only on air powered units)

All CECOR units feature a pressure gauge that allows you to monitor the tank's status in real-time. This gauge provides valuable insights into the performance of your Sump Shark®, ensuring you are maintaining optimal operation and efficiency.

All CECOR sump cleaners are equipped with standard mechanical (non-electric) overflow protection, ensuring that the tank does not overflow when full. This safety feature provides peace of mind and helps maintain a clean, efficient workspace.

Filtering

The filter basket is designed to support the media and extend its lifespan.

	The Air, Electric & Battery powered Sump Shark® sump cleaner series come standard with a 1.0 cubic foot filter basket (F10). Optional 2.3 cubic foot filter basket (F23) available for sumps with higher volumes of sludge in their sumps.
	The 3-Phase Electric & Propane powered sump cleaners comes with a 5.0 cubic foot filter basket (F50).
	The optional DF4 discharge filter is available on all models if additional filtering is required for your operation.

Filter Media

Customer feedback indicates that our media can be reused multiple times, with some media bags lasting up to a year. This durability enhances efficiency and reduces the need for replacements.

CECOR offers three tested filter media fabrics for removing sludge that neatly fit inside the appropriate filter basket: F10, F23, and F50. With every sump cleaner purchase, CECOR includes all three media types, allowing customers to determine which option works best for their specific sludge. The three media types are:

Straight tool – Gulping nozzle for fast fluid and sludge removal
Flex tool – Flexible end reaches around corners to access hard-to-reach areas.
Flare tool – Cleans the bottom of the sump or can be used to pickup small puddles.
