CECOR SE15 Series

Discover the efficiency and reliability of the SE15 sump cleaner. With its single-phase electric power, it offers both speedy suction and discharge capabilities, ensuring quick and effective removal of metalworking fluid, chips, and sludge from machine sumps.

Thanks to its high-suction lift and strong nozzle velocity, the SE15 completes the cleaning process in minutes, preventing the build-up of impacted sludge and layers of scum with regular maintenance.

Streamline your workflow with the SE15. Whether you need to pump filtered metalworking fluid back into the machine tool or transport it for further processing, this sump cleaner is your go-to solution for efficient and hassle-free operation.

The Right Tool

  • Vacuum Motor
  • High Suction Lift (up to 13” hg)
  • Cost-Effective
  • Pump in & Pump Out Capability
  • Reduce Machine Tool Downtime

Filtering

The SE15 series has a standard 1 cubic foot filter (F10) and has an optional 2.3 cubic filter (F23) for jobs with more sludge.  CECOR provides three different filter medias with every sump cleaner to help users determine the best filter media for their application.  CECOR expects to filter 70 to 95% of the solids from the metalworking fluid.  The actual quantity of solids filtered out is determined by the type of sludge created by the machine tool.

F10 Filter Basket

The F10 filter allows the person cleaning the sump to lift out the filter media and empty it for disposal and then reuse the filter media for the next sump.

Optional F23 Filter Basket

The F23 filter is equipped for forklift or hook hoist handling.  The F23 is round with a top dimension of 9-1/2″ and a bottom dimension of 13-3/8″.  The greater bottom dimension allows for easier cleanout and is due to one of our safety features; the CECOR patented compound linkage & rotary latch allows you to safely dump the filter from the bottom.

Hose Box Options

CECOR sump cleaners are equipped to manage either a 1-½” or 2” suction/dispensing hose. The 1-½” hose option is particularly user-friendly, easing the handling process due to its optimal size. Thanks to the high suction speed of both hose options, 90% of our customers prefer the 1-½” hose for its superior balance of performance and value.

In Plant Electrical Requirements

  • 120 Volt Outlet                             • Single Phase Electricals
  • 14.2 Amps                                    • 60 Hertz

Superior Design

The SE15 showcases a superior design with its durable steel tank construction, featuring a cleanout door secured by oversized wing nuts for enhanced strength and accessibility. This standout feature also includes a drain port for swift liquid removal. Positioned flush to the tank's bottom, the cleanout door enables effortless flush-to-bottom rinsing and scraping of any sludge that may evade the filtering system. With its outstanding design and functionality, the SE15 underscores CECOR's dedication to quality and efficiency in sump cleaning equipment.

Outperforming traditional methods like the shop-vac, pail, and shovel, the Sump Shark® SE15 offers a plug & play design for utmost convenience. With CECOR’s high suction and filtering capabilities, reclaiming quality metalworking fluid after sump cleaning becomes effortless. This alone leads to significant savings in both metalworking fluid and waste costs. Coupled with the time savings, the CECOR sump cleaner emerges as the ultimate cleaning tool for machine tool sumps, offering better, faster, easier, and safer cleaning processes.

Safety is Key

  1. The SE15 has a three-step system to prevent over pressurization of the sump cleaner:
    • Pressure Regulator – Factory sets the operating pressure to 6 psi.
    • Pressure Relief Valve – Prevents the unit from exceeding 8 psi.
    • Maximum pump pressure output 9 psi

  2. Mechanical (non-electric) overflow protection to prevent the tank from overflowing.
  3. Regular sump cleanings reduce the odors from a dirty sump & risk of dermatitis.
  4. Vacuum/Pressure Gauge that shows the level of performance the Sump Shark® is delivering.
  5. Safety input cap that relieves any pressure in the tank before removing cap.
