CECOR SP50 Series

CECOR’s SP50: The Ultimate Propane-Powered Sump Cleaner. With both rapid suction and discharge capabilities, this powerhouse cleaner utilizes high-suction lift and strong nozzle velocity to vacuum out metalworking fluid, chips, and swarf from machine sumps in minutes.

Featuring propane power, the SP50 ensures unmatched performance and reliability. With its preferred filter media, most solids remain captured, preventing the build-up of impacted swarf and layers of scum with regular cleaning.

Experience seamless maintenance and uninterrupted workflow with the SP50. Whether you're pumping filtered metalworking fluid back into the machine tool or transporting it for further processing, this sump cleaner guarantees efficiency and reliability, meeting the demands of industries requiring top-notch performance.

The Right Tool

  • 20 HP Propane Engine
  • High Suction Lift (up to 13” hg)
  • Reduce Machine Tool Downtime
  • Lobe-Type Positive Displacement Pump
  • Cost-Effective

 Filtering

The SP50 series has a standard 5 cubic foot filter (F50).  CECOR provides three different filter medias with every sump cleaner to help customers determine the best filter media for their application.  The F50 filter is equipped for forklift or hook hoist handling.  The F50 is round with a top dimension of 16-3/8″ and a bottom dimension of 20-3/8″.  The greater bottom dimension allows for easier cleanout and is due to one of our safety features; the CECOR patented compound linkage & rotary latch allows you to safely dump the filter from the bottom.

Hose Box Options

CECOR sump cleaners are equipped to manage either a 1-½” or 2” suction/dispensing hose. The 1-½” hose option is particularly user-friendly, easing the handling process due to its optimal size. Thanks to the high suction speed of both hose options, 90% of our customers prefer the 1-½” hose for its superior balance of performance and value.

Better Design

Manufactured with resilient steel, the SP50 features a robust tank design, equipped with an oversized wing nut-secured cleanout door and a drain port for swift liquid removal. Flush-mounted to the tank's bottom, the cleanout door facilitates effortless rinsing and scraping of any sludge bypassing the filtering system. The SP50 is available exclusively in 200, 300, 400, 500, and 600-gallon capacities, ensuring tailored options for diverse needs. The 200-gallon variant is fitted with an 8” x 10” cleanout door and a 1-1/4” drain port, while larger tank sizes are outfitted with a 16” diameter cleanout door and a 2-1/2” drain port.

Exceeding traditional methods like the shop-vac, pail, and shovel, the Sump Shark® SP50 epitomizes CECOR's commitment to innovation and efficiency. With CECOR’s high suction and filtering capabilities, reclaiming quality metalworking fluid post-sump cleaning becomes effortless, translating into substantial savings in both fluid and waste costs. When factoring in the time saved, the SP50 emerges as the ultimate solution for machine tool sump cleaning, underscoring CECOR's dedication to providing superior, efficient, and cost-effective solutions.

Safety is Key

  1. The SP50 has a three-step system to prevent over pressurization of the sump cleaner:
    • Pressure Relief Valve – Factory sets the operating pressure to 6 psi.
    • Pressure Relief Valve – Prevents the unit from exceeding 8 psi.
    • Maximum pump pressure output 11 psi

  2. Mechanical (non-electric) overflow protection to prevent the tank from overflowing.
  3. Regular sump cleanings reduce the odors from a dirty sump & risk of dermatitis.
  4. Vacuum/Pressure Gauge that shows the level of performance the Sump Shark® is delivering.
  5. Safety input cap that relieves any pressure in the tank before removing cap.
