The Right Tool

F10 Filter Basket

The 1 cubic foot capacity F10 filter allows the person cleaning the sump to lift out the filter media and empty it for disposal and then reuse the filter media.

Enhanced F23 Filter Basket Option

The optional 2.3 cubic foot capacity F23 filer basket is specifically engineered for ease of handling, whether using a forklift or a hoist. Its design includes a round top with a diameter of 9-½” and an expanded bottom dimension of 13-⅜”. This larger base not only supports stability during transport and operation but also facilitates a more efficient cleanout. Integral to its innovation, the CECOR patented compound linkage and rotary latch system allow for a secure and straightforward disposal of debris from the bottom, enhancing safety and convenience in high-demand industrial environments.

Hose Box Options

CECOR sump cleaners are equipped to manage either a 1-½” or 2” suction/dispensing hose. The 1-½” hose option is particularly user-friendly, easing the handling process due to its optimal size. Thanks to the high suction speed of both hose options, 90% of our customers prefer the 1-½” hose for its superior balance of performance and value.

Superior Design

The SA5 is constructed with a robust steel tank, featuring a secure cleanout door with oversized wing nuts for enhanced durability and ease of access. The cleanout door includes a drain port designed to efficiently remove any excess liquid. The overall design ensures a streamlined cleaning process from start to finish, allowing for a thorough rinsing or removal of any sludge that escapes the filtration system.

A Sump Shark® outshines traditional cleaning methods with its efficient plug-and-play operation. CECOR’s high suction and filtering capabilities will result in the ability to easily reuse quality metalworking fluid after cleaning a sump.  Regularly cleaned sumps have a reduced chance of employees getting dermatitis or other skin issues associated with bacteria growing in metalworking fluid.  This alone will save money in both reduced metal working fluid cost, reduced waste cost and employee absenteeism. Safety is Key

1. The SA5 has a three-step system to prevent over pressurization of the sump cleaner:
• Pressure Regulator – Factory sets the operating pressure to 6 psi.
• Pressure Relief Valve – Prevents the unit from exceeding 8 psi.
• Pressure Rupture Disc – Prevents the unit from exceeding 15 psi
2. Mechanical (non-electric) overflow protection to prevent the tank from overflowing.
3. Regular sump cleanings reduce the odors from a dirty sump & risk of dermatitis.
4. Vacuum/Pressure Gauge that shows the level of performance the Sump Shark® is delivering.
5. Safety input cap that relieves any pressure in the tank before removing cap.
