CECOR Tramp-Oil Separator

Your Solution for Efficient Tramp-Oil Separation. Designed for performance, this advanced coalescer rapidly separates tramp-oil from metalworking fluids, helping extend coolant life, improve machining efficiency, and reduce disposal costs.

A fluid separation device designed to remove dispersed oils, fine particulates, and entrained contaminants from liquids by promoting the merging (“coalescing”) of small droplets into larger ones. In industrial coolant and fluid management systems, CECOR Tramp-Oil Separator helps separate and remove tramp-oil along with suspended contaminants from water-based coolants, improving fluid cleanliness and extending coolant life.

As contaminated fluid flows through the CECOR Tramp-Oil Separator structured separation zone, microscopic oil droplets combine into larger droplets that are easier to separate and remove. The cleaned fluid can then be returned to the system while the separated oil is collected for disposal or recycling.

Cane Skimmer

Cane skimmers allow for the fluctuation of liquid levels in a tank. A floating head will raise and lower with liquid level while a stopper prevents the float head from rising too high. There are multiple Cane skimmers with different ranges of liquid level fluctuation. Each cane skimmer comes with an adjustable magnetic mounting bracket for user-friendly mounting.

Cane Skimmer 3.5 Assembly (TS-CANE3.5) gives a range of 3-1/2” for the liquid level. It comes with a Cane skimmer 3.5 assembly and skimmer connection hose.

Cane Skimmer 7.0 Assembly (TS-CANE7.0) gives a range of 7” for the liquid level. It comes with a Cane skimmer 7.0 assembly and skimmer connection hose.

*If a wider range is needed, special cane floats can be manufactured.

Slotted Skimmer

CECOR slotted skimmer is designed for shallow sumps in tight spaces. There are no moving parts on this skimmer. The slotted skimmer comes with an adjustable mounting bracket to position the skimmer in the optimal location.

Pump

CECOR Tramp-Oil Separator uses a diaphragm pump to process the skimmed coolant/oil mix to the coalescer. This pump housing is constructed out of Aluminum. It has ¾” pipe connections with a volume per cycle of 615cc. The internals (balls, seats, diaphragm) are constructed out of buna.

This package mounts the pump to the Tramp-Oil Separator with the required plumbing to allow connection of the skimmer to the tank.

TS-D0.75 coolant discharge kit comes with a discharge hose assembly and cam attachment plumbing.

Tramp-Oil Discharge Kit (Optional)

TS-T0.75 tramp-oil discharge kit comes with a discharge hose assembly and cam attachment plumbing.

Tramp-Oil Separator Stand (Optional)

This stand raises the Tramp-Oil Separator to allow the gravity flow of the cleaned coolant back to the sump.
