Eclipse MicroMag Magnetic Separators
The Eclipse MicroMag Magnetic Separator is a compact, high-performance filtration system designed to remove ferrous and para-magnetic contaminants from industrial fluids such as coolants, lubricants, and oils. Ideal for precision machining applications like grinding, honing, lapping, drilling, and EDM, the MicroMag extends fluid life, reduces consumable filter costs, and improves overall product quality by capturing sub-micron particles without blocking flow.
Featuring a patented design with high-intensity rare earth magnets, the MicroMag ensures efficient contaminant removal while maintaining unrestricted fluid flow. Its clear poly (SAN) housing allows for easy visual inspection, and the unit is quick to clean—typically in under 30 seconds—using a simple tool to remove only metallic particles, eliminating the need for disposable cartridges. This environmentally friendly solution offers a rapid return on investment, with low maintenance and no consumables required.
Available in three base models with poly housing: 5", 10", and 20" sizes. The MicroMag is suitable for installation pre- or post-pump, on delivery lines, or before membrane cartridges. It's built for medium-pressure systems and provides reliable performance in demanding industrial environments.
Key Features:
- High-intensity neodymium rare earth magnetic core for superior contaminant capture.
- Tapered radial flow channels to optimize filtration efficiency.
- Non-block design ensures continuous operation even at high contamination levels.
- Clear SAN poly housing with anodized aluminum lid for durability and visibility.
- Viton O-ring seals for reliable performance.
- Easy manual cleaning with no dirty filters to dispose of.
Benefits:
- Reduces downtime and maintenance costs.
- Extends coolant and oil life, lowering disposal expenses.
- Improves machined part quality by removing fine ferrous particles.
- Environmentally responsible with minimal waste.
- Compact size for easy integration into existing systems.
