The DB-1054 Dumping frame works with all 54 Series Carts. The following dumping cart models are part of the 54 series:

  • 054 - Dumping Container; 11 Cu. Ft., 800 LB. Capacity
  • X54 - Dumping Container; 18 Cu. Ft., 800 LB. Capacity
  • 254 - Dumping Container; 27 Cu. Ft., 800 LB. Capacity

You only need one dumping frame to work with many dumping carts. One dumping frame will work with any combination of the above-listed dumping carts.

The Trunnion pin option (rotational dumping) must be purchased to use the dumping frame. With rotational dumping a pin is installed on each side of the dumping cart. The pin has 3 available locations. The top position will be the slowest dumping speed, and the bottom pin will be the fastest. The pins on either side must be at the same height to use the dumping frame.

The Dumping frame quickly attaches to a forklift or hook hoist. Once the dumping frame is attached to the forklift or hoist, a dumping cart can be connected to the dumping frame and dumped.

A hook hoist or forklift can be used to pick up the cart by its trunnion pins using the dumping frame. Move the cart to the dumping zone. A spring-loaded trigger initiates the dumping motion. The trigger can be activated either directly on the frame or with rope-pull for remote dumping. Releasing the trigger allows the cart to overturn. The cart will rotate 360 degrees (with sufficient load weight). The empty cart returns to an upright position for return to the ground. The trunnion location on the cart is selected by the plant. This location helps determine the speed of the cart during the dumping rotation.
